In reply to Cowgurlxoxo. A lot of stores have tubes of minced lemongrass in the refrigerated area of the produce section! If you're still not having luck there, you can use the zest from two medium lemons for a similar flavor. Hope this helps!

100% will make this again! Thank you for a fantastic recipe. I did add a little bit of red chili and garlic paste, but that’s just because we like that sort of thing. It was fantastic even without that.

I want to make this soooo bad tonight, but have failed to find that in my area ( Wyoming) there is NO lemongrass !! Ahhhhhh ! 2 town grocery stores and NOPE !! Any Substitutes for this ????

In reply to April Wright. I'm so sorry, April! We do specify in the instructions which aromatics to remove - "Strain out the aromatics (the garlic, onions, lemongrass, and ginger) and discard." We'll try to tweak the instructions to make it more clear, though!

I accidentally strained EVERYTHING, not just the aromatics; I then missed the heat element. Not a fault of the recipe but perhaps of the way the recipe is written. Maybe strain out the aromatics leaving only the jalapeños would have been more clear? Anyway, it was really good and we will make it again.

Excellent recipe! I had to be home so I took all day to slowly make this although it could easily be made in 30-40 minutes The broth is just delicious I added more curry to the mix as we love it and I had shrimp so I added them too along with the chicken. I will make again soon
